RULES OF CONDUCT

 School Rules and Regulations

At ROSHAN MEMORIAL ACADEMY, we believe that a safe and respectful environment is crucial for effective learning and personal development. To ensure the well-being of all members of our school community, the following rules and regulations are in place: 

 Respect and Courtesy:

•    Treat all individuals with respect, kindness, and consideration.
•    Use appropriate language and tone while communicating with peers, staff, and visitors.
•    Bullying, harassment, discrimination, and any form of intimidation are strictly prohibited.

 Attendance:

•    Attend school regularly and punctually.
•    Notify the school in advance about any planned absences or tardiness.
•    Submit necessary documentation for absences, if required.

Uniform and Dress Code:

•     Wear the designated school uniform as specified in the dress code policy.
•     Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
•     Avoid wearing clothing or accessories that may disrupt the learning environment or promote inappropriate messages. 

Academic Integrity:

•    Engage in honest and original academic work.
•    Plagiarism, cheating, and unauthorized collaboration are not tolerated.
•    Give proper credit to sources used in assignments or projects. 

Classroom Conduct:

•    - Follow teacher instructions and classroom rules.
•    - Keep electronic devices silenced and only use them for educational purposes when allowed.
•    - Participate actively and positively in classroom discussions and activities. 

Personal Belongings

•    - Keep personal belongings secure and labeled with your name.
•    - Do not bring valuable items to school unless necessary.

 

Health and Safety:

•    - Adhere to health and safety guidelines provided by the school.
•    - Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to a staff member immediately.
•    - Do not bring or use any substances that are prohibited by law or school policy. 

Punctuality:

•    - Arrive on time for classes, assemblies, and other school events.
•    - Be prompt in submitting assignments and projects.

Extracurricular Activities:

•    - Respect commitments to extracurricular activities and attend them regularly.
•    - Follow the rules and guidelines set by the activity's supervisor or coach.

Communication:

•    - Check school announcements, emails, and notices regularly.
•    - Maintain open and respectful communication with teachers, staff, and administrators.

Use of Facilities:

•    - Use school facilities and equipment responsibly.
•    - Leave common areas clean and tidy after use.

Consequences for Violations:
Violations of these rules and regulations may result in disciplinary actions such as warnings, detention, counseling, parent meetings, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.
